Skin & hair

A routine with a reason.

Texture, uneven tone, thinning hair, and shedding are different concerns. A thoughtful routine starts by being precise about the change you see, how it developed, and what you want to address. The most useful next step may differ for skin and hair even when they share the same shelf.

01

Skin texture & tone

Some retinoids are used for specific signs of skin aging. Suitability and irritation matter, and sun protection remains fundamental.

02

Hair density

Hair-loss treatment depends on the cause. A dermatologist may use an examination and, when needed, testing to establish that cause.

03

A consistent routine

The instructions and the time needed to assess a response belong in the decision. Adding more products does not automatically make a routine better.

01

Start with the change, then the category.

Give the concern a timeline. A new patch, increased shedding, and gradual thinning are not identical observations. For skin, record what you use now and how it behaves. That context makes an evaluation more useful than beginning with a product trend.

  • List your current skin or hair products and any recent changes.
  • Note when the concern began and whether it is progressing.
  • Describe irritation, discomfort, or other symptoms during a clinical review.
02

Match the evidence to the application.

An ingredient name alone does not establish what a finished product does. Concentration, formulation, route of use, and the population studied can change how evidence applies. A topical study cannot automatically support the same claim for a capsule or injection.

  • Look for evidence about the exact use and formulation.
  • Separate cosmetic appearance claims from treatment claims.
  • Check instructions, warnings, and how response was assessed.
03

Know how the routine will be reviewed.

Discuss what change is realistic to look for, when to review progress, and what to do if irritation or other problems arise. Keep purchase frequency separate from expected results: the time between deliveries is not evidence of how quickly a product works.

  • Clarify the purpose of each product in the routine.
  • Agree how changes will be assessed over time.
  • Review the full cost of continuing before enrolling in repeat delivery.

Your questions, answered.

Are skin and hair products interchangeable?

No. The same ingredient can appear in different formats and concentrations. Read the product-specific instructions and evidence, and seek evaluation for a persistent or concerning change.

Do the RA·NUE packaging images show released skin or hair treatments?

No. The images are packaging studies. Product identities, indications, instructions, and availability will need their own published information.
