Who should not take it
Anyone using an SSRI. Anyone with a shellfish allergy, because its chitosan is derived from shellfish. Anyone pregnant or nursing. If you take insulin, oral diabetes medicines or other medication, consult a physician first.

Consult a physician if taking medication (including insulin and oral diabetic medications), or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place after opening. Allergen Advisory: Chitosan is derived from shellfish. Individuals with shellfish allergies should avoid this product. Although highly purified, trace amounts of allergenic proteins may be present. Discontinue use immediately if any adverse reaction occurs.
