Metabolic health
Progress beyond the scale.
The number on the scale is one part of metabolic health. Appetite, blood sugar, blood pressure, and the habits you can sustain give progress a fuller meaning. Start with the outcome you want to change, then consider the evidence for a specific approach.
Explore the detailsAppetite & satiety
Some prescription weight-management medicines act on hunger or fullness. Their mechanisms, indications, and risks differ.
Health markers
For people with overweight or obesity, weight loss can improve blood sugar, blood pressure, and triglycerides. Individual changes vary.
A sustainable routine
Medication, when appropriate, sits alongside nutrition, activity, and behavioral support. The continuing plan matters as much as the first step.

Define what progress means to you.
Bring a specific priority to the conversation: managing hunger, improving a health marker, or building a routine that is easier to maintain. A clinician can consider that priority alongside your medical history and current medicines.
- Record the changes you have noticed and when they began.
- List previous approaches, including what was helpful or difficult.
- Discuss which measurements would be useful for your situation.
One category. Different medicines.
Some approved weight-management medicines act on hormone pathways involved in appetite. A shared pathway or similar molecule name does not make products equivalent. FDA-approved medicines and compounded preparations have different regulatory status; compounded drugs are not FDA-approved.
- Identify the exact medicine, formulation, and intended use.
- Separate a study of a particular medicine from claims about all peptides.
- Ask the clinician to explain expected benefits, risks, and alternatives.
Plan for the months after the first visit.
A useful decision includes the ongoing commitment. Establish who reviews your response, how side effects are reported, what follow-up costs, and what happens if an approach is unsuitable. An introductory price or a product photograph cannot answer those questions.
- Confirm the clinical review and follow-up process.
- Distinguish medicine, consultation, testing, and delivery charges.
- Ask how the plan is reassessed over time.
Your questions, answered.
Does choosing metabolic health recommend a medicine?
No. These pages explain a health priority and the decisions around it. They do not assess eligibility or select a product. Any prescription decision requires an individual evaluation.
Can I begin a RA·NUE weight-management program here?
RA·NUE is not yet accepting clinical assessments. A specific program, price, and service availability have not been announced.
